Home health care is a wide range of health care services that can be given in your home for an disability, illness or injury. Home health care is usually less expensive, or covered by your medical insurance and more convenient, also  just as effective as care you get in a hospital or skilled nursing facility.

Home help 

Program

If you have Medicaid you may be eligible to get help with paying for help at home, Whether its a love one or we provide the care Medicaid would help you with the cost.

Assistance is available for individuals who need help with daily activities and meet eligibility requirements. To receive Home Help services, a person must be eligible for Medicaid and require physical assistance with at least one activity of daily living. 

Home Help Services may pay for the
following activities of daily living:
• Eating or feeding.
• Bathing.
• Dressing.
• Grooming.
• Moving throughout the home.
• Transferring from one position to
another.
• Using the toilet.

 

Appointment Help Program

With BCSS appointment help clients can book their appointment at a time that is convenient for them, without bothering family or friends or having to work around someone else’s schedule. 

 

In addition to doctor appointments, we assist clients with shopping, transportation to the post office, bank, or pharmacy, hair appointments and airport service. 

Our travel helpers can pick you up at your home or meet you at your departure airport and then provide travel assistance with all aspects of your trip – from baggage handling, check-in, and security, through the flight, and all the way to baggage claim – everything you need to get safely and comfortably to your final destination. Our travel companions can also accompany you throughout an entire trip, providing travel assistance from beginning to end.
